# Why Revont

> Understand the connected workflow Revont provides for sales teams.

Revont is a desktop workspace for the work around a sales conversation.

It keeps the parts of the workflow that are usually split across several tools together:

* the meeting and its live context
* the customer, deal, and contact records connected to that meeting
* the notes, memory, and knowledge that make future conversations sharper
* the actions and reporting that carry the work forward

## What makes Revont different

### Context stays with the conversation

The Communications area brings meetings and email into one place. From there, the app can connect activity back to clients, deals, and contacts instead of leaving the conversation as an isolated event.

### The workspace is built around real records

Clients, Deals, Contacts, and custom models are first-class areas in the sidebar. Each record can be opened directly, reviewed, and connected to related work.

### AI supports the workflow

Revont includes live meeting assistance, chat and search surfaces, meeting suggestions, knowledge-base answers, and memory panels. Which surfaces appear depends on the enabled features and your role.

### Follow-through is visible

The Actions area gives follow-up work its own page. Analytics and Reports, Coaching, Audit, and CRM Integrations provide separate places for insights, governance, and connected systems.

## Who should start here

Revont is designed for sales teams that want meeting context, customer records, and follow-through in the same operating surface. Admins also get workspace controls for members, permissions, integrations, data models, and quotas.

<Info>
Revont is not a separate replacement for your meeting provider. It is the workspace around the meeting, with the connected records and follow-through that come before and after it.
