# Create And Edit Knowledge Base Articles

> Create, edit, organize, and find internal articles in the Knowledge Base.

Open **Knowledge Base** from the sidebar.

## Create An Article

  <Step title="Open Knowledge Base">
    Under **Administration**, select **Knowledge Base**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a folder">
    Select the folder where you want the article to live.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create the article">
    Select **Create Article**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Write the article">
    Add the title and content in the editor.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save the article">
    Use the article editor controls to save your changes.
  </Step>

## Find An Article

Use the **Search...** field to search article content. Use **Filter Articles By Tag** to narrow the results by tag. Select an article in the folder tree to open it in the right-hand viewer or editor.

## Add A Folder

Select **New Group** in the folder area, enter the group details, and save it. You can drag folders to reorganize the hierarchy when you have permission to manage the Knowledge Base.
