# Navigation And Global Controls

> Use the Revont sidebar, search, notifications, and customization controls.

The sidebar is persistent across protected pages. It is organized into groups that can be collapsed, reordered, or moved into the **More** menu when the available height is limited.

## Open A Page

Select a visible item in the sidebar. The current section stays active when you open a related detail route, such as a client, deal, contact, meeting, or report dashboard.

## Communications Hub

**Communications Hub** is a special sidebar area. Its child item is **Meetings & Calendar**, and the page header switches between:

* **Meetings**
* **Emails**

When the rail is collapsed, select the **Communications Hub** control to open the child item.

## More And Customization

Use **More** to reach groups that do not fit in the visible rail. To change the layout, right-click the sidebar and choose **Customize Sidebar**. Drag items or groups into the desired order, then choose **Done**. **Reset to Defaults** restores the default layout.

## Global Controls

* **Search** opens the global search and Chat surface.
* **Notifications** opens the notification center.
* **Settings** opens the Settings dialog.
* **Collapse Sidebar** and **Expand Sidebar** change the rail width.
