# Privacy Settings

> Request a download of the data associated with your account.

Open **Settings > Privacy**.

  <Step title="Open Privacy">
    Select **Settings** in the sidebar, then select **Privacy**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Request your data">
    In **Download My Data**, select **Download My Data**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Wait for preparation">
    The button changes to **Preparing Download...** while Revont creates the export.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm the export">
    Revont downloads one JSON file and shows an **Export ready** confirmation when the download starts.
